Manchester Equipment and Adaptations Partnership (MEAP) is a citywide service based at Philips Park Road in Beswick, Manchester. It provides coordinated, comprehensive services to disabled and older people of any age to maximize independence, choice, safety and quality of life. Services include community equipment delivery and recycling, minor and major adaptations (grab rails, stairlifts, level access showers), mobility assessments for Blue Badges, moving and handling assessments, and community alarm services. MEAP operates as a partnership with the NHS and is split into four teams: Community Equipment Team/Minor Adaptations, Citywide Adaptations (Technical) Team, Community Alarm Service, and others.
